Shock Therapy

In a very random attack from the Ebene Zetzica, Pipira is shoved into the pool.  Being, for the most part, electronic, she electrocutes the entire pool the second she hits the water.  Aeq is shocked and thrown unconcious, but is otherwise alright.  Jesse dives into the pool and retrieves Pipira, but she shows no signs of waking up.  Eventually, he gets some help and she's transported to the kitchen.  After some inspection, Casey wakes Pipira up by jump starting her brain. However the electrical shock killed Pipira's organic half of her brain and she is now nothing more than a very dull, monotonous robot.

While she seems harmless, she hardly remembers any of the people in the house, so she is sent to her room to keep from attacking anyone.  Jonas and Jake both try to convince Pipira that she is better off with her organic brain, but Pipira insists she is much more efficient without it.

Jake decides the best way to find a way to fix Pipira is to talk to her creater, her sister Luca.  After weaseling the permission out of Adriana, Jake travels to Pipira's parent's farm.  He only finds Aikiy, Pipira's mother, there but she is still very willing to offer up information about Luca's whereabouts.  Though her description is vague, Jake manages to find Luca's underground home in a field.

After getting her to open the trap door that hid the place, Jake questions her on how to fix Pipira, but like Pipira, Luca seems to feel the girl is much better off without her organic half.  After being threatened at sword point, however, Luca gives up the information.  She also mentions that fixing her will probably cut Pipira's lifespan in half.  Jake is shocked to hear that as is, Pipira only has about a hundred days left to live.  A bit disturbed, he finally lets Luca alone and travels back to the house.

Jake instructs Valero on how to fix Pipira, but Pipira steadily refuses to undergo the process.  Jake manages to confuse Pipira into thinking that she will be more efficient with her organic brain, which leaves her rather dazed for a while.  Taking advantage of the moment, Valero uses a syringe to take out some of the purple goo that Pipira runs off of and injects it into her organic brain.  She sparks a little and almost goes unconcious, but after a few minutes she seems back to normal with only very vague memories of what had happened.
